THE GENTH’s three individual buildings will play a key role in how the area around Kurfürstenstrasse is perceived and develops. The quarter, designed as a contemporary interpretation of Anglo-Saxon industrial loft architecture, is reminiscent of New York City’s world-renowned SoHo district. The chosen material composition of brick and plaster with sweeping horizontal bands of windows lends this project a prestigious urban profile. The building’s horizontal structure has its origins in the traditional modern design philosophy, elevating this style to a whole new level.
